Ron Mraz, Ph.D., President & CTO
Ron Mraz, Ph.D., President & CTO
Ron, as President and founder of Owl Computing Technologies, Inc.,directs advanced development of secure data transfer systems. Ron has over 20 years of private sector experience in a variety of technical positions including major research facilities at Westinghouse and IBM. He began his career developing microprocessor controls for switching power converter systems with Westinghouse Research. He then participated in the development of several high performance vector and supercomputing systems for IBM Server and Research Divisions. Additionally, he developed metrics for analyzing communication hardware in high performance networks for super computer and real-time applications such as streaming video transmission.

Dr. Mraz received his Doctorate in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 1992. He holds a Masters of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University. He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA). He holds 8 patents and has published more than 12 articles in the field of Computer Engineering.

Dave Graham, Vice-President
Dave is Vice-President and a minority owner of Owl Computing since 2000. He is a successful entrepreneur and business executive, having founded and/or managed businesses in the energy, environmental, telecommunications, and high technology industries.

He started his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. in its Energy and Telecommunications Practice, after completing his service in the U. S. Army. He has served as the Chief Financial Officer of a highly successful nationwide, multi-service utility. The Board of Directors of a beleaguered regional utility brought him in to lead the turnaround and subsequent sale of the company. Private equity firms have called on his experience to support the acquisition and operation of domestic and international utilities.

Dave holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and received his MBA from the New York University Executive General Management Program. He has been affiliated with the Association for Corporate Growth, National Association of Corporate Directors, the Connecticut Venture Group, Financial Executives International, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Dennis Lanahan, Manager, Sales & Customer Service
Dennis joined Owl in the Fall of 2007, after four years as Director of Sales Operations at iRobot. During the time of rapid growth at iRobot, from 2003-2007, he was responsible for overseeing Sales Operations and Customer Service for the Home Robots Division. His responsibilities included global supply-chain operations, customer fulfillment and North American consumer help-desk service and support.

He started his career at Seagate Technology in Scotts Valley, CA and has held Sales and Sales Management positions in various technology companies selling computers, computer peripherals and internet services. He holds a Bachelors Degree of Individual Concentration (B.D.I.C.) from the University of Massachusetts from 1986, with a concentration in Business Management and Computer Information Science.
 
 
Steve Staubly, Systems Engineer
Steve Staubly, Systems Engineer
Steve is a Systems Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in product development with an emphasis on hardware, firmware and device drivers for board and system level products. At Owl Computing Steve has overseen the design and manufacture of key products including the Owl 2500 V6 card and multiple versions of the Integrated Solution platform for both the government and utilities markets.

Steve began his career in the telephony industry developing technology for digital dictation and voice mail systems.

Steve received both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York.

Jeff Menoher, Certifications & Accreditations
Jeff provides strategic direction and management for Owl Computing product security certification and accreditation processes. His background includes a BS degree from MIT in Geophysics, and a MS from The State University of New York in International Trade.

Jeff has 20 years' practice in systems engineering and information management consulting in the telecommunications, semiconductor, and research market sectors.
