OSIsoft® PI System® Secure Transfer Support

Owl support for PI System Process Historian is an Owl-designed software connector specific for the automated one-way transfer of OSIsoft® data across a single compact, rackmountable chassis.

Integrated into an Owl OPDS Transfer System, the Owl OSIsoft PI System® software connector moves PI database records, snapshot data, and historical archive data to the lower level PI server. A single UDP connection is used to move all three types of information. Date and time stamps from the originating server are preserved; time synchronization between the two servers is maintained. Point record data and archive data are repainted to the receiving PI server. The connector runs as a PI API node. The receiving API node will buffer incoming data if the receiving PI server is unavailable.
