in 2009 CWID Coalition Warrior Interoperability Demonstrations

Owl contributions to recent CWID successes expand participation in Year 3
 
Ridgefield, Connecticut, December 1, 2008 -- CWID, an annual event driven by the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, engages cutting-edge information technology focused on criteria defined by Combatant Commanders in the field. The Chiefs accept technologies for participation because they address new information sharing capability, or will improve existing capabilities.

Owl products were successfully deployed – and received positive reviews -- as security upguards for a variety of data types in CWID 2007. In CWID 2008, Owl cross-domain solutions performed the core transfer service function, supporting the secure one-way transfer of many operational, coalition entities. “Helping to protect the information transferred to our military services, and to our coalition partners, brings us great satisfaction,” said Ron Mraz, Owl Computing President. “Knowing that our solutions provide combatant commanders the time-critical information they require, gives them the time they need to analyze, and to act.”
