New Solution Protects Control Systems’ IT Cyber Assets
 
Ridgefield, Connecticut, September 7, 2010 – Owl Computing Technologies®, premier source for the electronic securing of critical infrastructure IT assets, today announces the general availability of the Electronic Perimeter Security Solution EPSS. The platform is derived from patented Owl DualDiode® Technology and Owl’s recognized expertise & experience in satisfying client information security needs. EPSS -- compact, easy-to-deploy – is purpose-built for the secure transfer of sensor, telemetry and core monitoring data, as well as real-time computer screen capture, from segregated control system networks out to client networks engaged in plant engineering & business tasks.

EPSS condenses full electronic security perimeter functionality in a single 1U (1.75” high) rack mountable chassis – no external “flanking” servers are required to condition user content for one-way transfer across the embedded Owl DualDiode controlled interface. Up to 32 independent user “connectors” may be enabled simultaneously over 1 physical EPSS -- a wide range of time series data historians, Modbus over Ethernet, SCADA applications, virtual remote screen, and OPC interfaces.
