Ridgefield, Connecticut, June 21, 2010 -- Owl Computing Technologies®, the premier source for secure, reliable, fast, one-way cross-domain solutions, introduces the Owl Performance Management Service OPMS. OPMS is a modular dashboard of application tools for the remote, non-intrusive, monitoring of cross domain solutions and electronic perimeter defense systems. OPMS collects log file records on data transfers, and CDS system parameters, graphically presenting them to permissions-based users via a standard Web browser interface.
“OPMS dramatically simplifies CDS oversight and auditing tasks,” stated Dr. Ron Mraz, Owl Computing President and CTO. “No longer must a privileged administrator sit at a local console to access critical performance information. Now, security system administrators can monitor CDS attributes anytime, from any authorized point-of-access.”
OPMS gives cross domain service providers a new advantage in customer service, as well. As Dave Graham, Owl Vice-President, explained: “With 24/7 OPMS monitoring, CDS providers can initiate proactive steps to address any anomaly, even before the end-customer becomes aware of the issue. That spells customer satisfaction, and cost savings.”
Unveiled at the 6th Annual Owl Cross Domain Forum, OPMS remote monitoring has also been presented at the recent DoDIIS Technology Exposition, May 24-26, Phoenix AZ Convention Center.
Owl Performance Management Service version 1.x is in general release today for the monitoring of Owl CDS systems.
