Owl Distributed PI System Secure Transfer extends one-way transfer functionality to multiple OSIsoft PI System installations across a single Owl Perimeter Defense solution. Distributed support enables the collection PI System content from individual PI databases, across the Owl secure electronic perimeter, to a single PI System database residing outside the isolated control space. The OwlPI software connector prepends local site values with site-specific naming additions. Unique distributed database information can thus be recognized as such on the receiving PI System database.
