Ridgefield, Connecticut, May 19, 2009 -- Owl Computing Technologies®, the premier source for secure, oneway
information transfer systems, announces the integration of ITT Cyber Assurance Department’s Purifile
software in Owl TCDS, its firewall-to-firewall tactical cross-domain solution. PuriFile finds hidden information in
files and, in this implementation, alerts TCDS to quarantine the examined file or transfer it securely. Owl’s
proprietary DualDiode® technology enables hardware-enforced data confidentiality in the one-way transfer of
data from one network domain to another. Owl TCDS integrates these capabilities, with other data protection
elements, to present clients with a true end-to-end cross-domain system, geared for the tactical military space.
"PuriFile integration in Owl’s secure, tactical one-way system adds a data confidentiality component to the
overall cross-domain solution by reducing the potential for the inadvertent or malicious release of sensitive
information,” said Jack LoSecco, Director of Cyber Assurance, ITT Advanced Engineering Services ITT-AES.
“Combining our areas of expertise in information assurance delivers leading-edge value and performance to our
military and civilian-agency clients.”
“Owl has successfully employed ITT’s Purifile in other secure data-transfer guard applications,” said Ron Mraz,
Owl Computing President. “With the integration of Purifile in Owl TCDS, as a crucial element in our firewall-tofirewall
cross-domain tactical system, we provide our customers with a complete CDS solution, ready for rapid
deployment to the field.”
