OSMS processes document malware scanning and quarantine subsystems and efficiently reports the results -- exceptions, transaction audit information, and syslog data. OSMS delivers the processed document to the controlled interface (Owl Computing DFTS) for transfer to the higher security network destination.

The OSMS cross-domain solution enables multiple authorized users to initiate the sending of information from a low security network, obtain an efficient document malware scan and results reporting prior to transferring the information to a higher security network. OSMS extends the capabilities of Owl Directory File Transfer System one-way controlled network interface.  Owl ScanFile Management Service is interoperable with all major malware scanning software products.
